I applied to 5 UC schools and got rejected from all of them. I then got accepted for UC Merced and UC Riverside but I decided to decline both of them b/c I had just moved to CA, I didn't know much about the campuses and I would have to transfer colleges anyway in order to go to med school so I decided to save myself some cash and attend community college. My dream is to attend UC Irvine since it has its own Medical School and it allows me to do my internships and residency there and I wouldn't have to transfer schools again. I'm trying to plan my classes out and my college (SD City College) has a pact w/ the UC system where if I take some many credits with so many classes I can get in. The School I want to get into is UC Irvine's School of Biological Sciences but the list of schools in the UC system that its not recommended to use that cirriculum with includes the school I want to get into. Does that mean I shouldn't use this cirriculum and form my own of does that mean its impossible to get into this school through community college and I should apply to a different school of learning in UC irvine and then Tansfer over to that school my last year there? Or should I apply too a different UC school, such as Davis that don't have the same restrictions? Help Please I'm really confused!... Read More »
