Resolved Question: Fishing in Vegetated area?

Today I went fishing with several friends. The area we went fishing was had heavy vegetation and some trees. We I had gotten home and took my shirt off I noticed there was a tick on my stomach but it wasn't latched on because I slapped it and it fell into my lap and began to crawl.
